Town Among Clubs Linked With Swindon Skipper - Ipswich Town News
Town, QPR, Charlton, Rotherham and Portsmouth are all reported to be keen on Swindon captain Nathan Thompson.
The 26-year-old, a centre-half or right-back, is out of contract and is likely to leave the County Ground on a free transfer this summer following the Robins’ relegation to League Two, with the Blues and the other four clubs among those showing interest, according to Sky Sports News.
Chester-born Thompson, who is 5ft 9½in tall, came through the youth system at Swindon and has made 173 starts and 14 sub appearances, scoring four goals, since breaking into the first team in 2010/11.
