Midfielder Andre Dozzell has been named in the England U20 squad for the Toulon Tournament which starts later this month.
The young England party, which is made up of players from this season’s U18s, U19s and U20s squads, take on Angola at the Stade de Lattre, Aubagne on Monday 29th May, Cuba at the Stade d'Honneur, Salon de Provence on Thursday 1st June and Japan back at the Stade de Lattre, Aubagne on Sunday 4th June.
Fellow midfielder Tristan Nydam and striker Ben Morris, both 17, are on standby.
Dozzell, who signed a new contract running to the summer of 2020 when he turned 18 earlier this month, won nine caps with the U18s during 2016/17, having previously played for and skippered the U17s a year earlier.
England go to Toulon as champions, a U21s side led by Gareth Southgate having won last year’s competition.
