Crazee's Orwell Cycle Challenge - Ipswich Town News
Town mascot Crazee is once again getting on his bike to raise money for a local charity, cycling the 15-mile route at the Orwell Walk/Ride event on Sunday 25th June.
Last year Crazee raised money for EACH , this year he is supporting another local charity, Home-Start East Suffolk.
In an ideal world Home-Start wouldn’t be needed. But for many parents the pressures of family life are simply too much to cope with alone.
There are so many reasons for this including -poverty, illness, family breakdowns, isolation, addiction and physical and mental health issues.
And this is where Home-Start steps in. Home-Start East Ipswich & Coastal aims to give children the best possible start in life. They support parents to grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children, improve their health and well-being and widen their links locally.
Apart from his matchday duties Crazee has also raised more than a few pounds for local charities in the past by Zipwiring down the pitch at Portman Road, sitting on each one of Portman Road’s 30,130 seats, taking part in the Orwell Cycle Ride twice and the Sport Relief walk, also twice.
Please help not only Crazee but also Home-Start by making a donation here.
