West Brom Youngster Linked - Ipswich Town News
Town are reportedly keen on West Brom youngster Jonathan Leko, who could be allowed to move on loan ahead of the new season.
Leko, 18, has made three starts and 11 sub appearances for the Premier League Baggies’ first team so far without scoring but, according to the Express and Star, could be sent out on loan to gain experience with the Blues said to be the most interested in the highly-rated forward.
The 6ft tall Kinshasa-born frontman, who came through the youth system at the Hawthorns having moved to the UK aged eight, has played alongside Town youngsters Andre Dozzell, Nick Hayes and Ben Morris with the England U17s and U18s over the last couple of seasons.
Contracted to West Brom until the summer of 2019, Leko has previously been mentioned in connection with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
