Le Pen Admits Move Talks - Ipswich Town News

Out-of-favour Town winger Ulrich Le Pen has admitted that talks are ongoing with newly promoted Racing Club de Strasbourg. Last week TWTD revealed that the French club were interested in taking the 28-year-old back home, just six months after moving to Town.

According to the player himself negotiations regarding his move have begun: "There has been contact with Strasbourg and things are underway."

Le Pen has made just two appearances as sub with Town and doesn't seem overly impressed: "My experience with Ipswich has been a negative one."

The Frenchman was signed from Lorient back in November for £1.8 million. A succession of injuries affected his availability and he never got a chance to impress in the first team.

Strasbourg have been promoted to the French First Division while Le Pen's former club Lorient have dropped to the Second.
