U23s Face Coggeshall in Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U23s will play a friendly against Coggeshall Town at their West Street ground on Saturday 15th July (KO 3pm).
A game against the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side has become a regular feature of pre-season in recent seasons with Coggeshall chairman Graeme Smith’s company Chelmsford Plastic Warehouse a sponsor of the Blues’ academy.
Last year a Town XI made up of U23s and U18s drew 1-1 with Ben Morris (pictured) on target against a Coggeshall side which included pop star Olly Murs, while a year previously an U21s team won 4-1.
