Karic in Slovenia Squad - Ipswich Town News
Town misfit Amir Karic will take his place at the World Cup this summer with Slovenia. The left-sided player, primarily used as a full-back with Town's reserve side, has been picked as a midfielder in Srecko Katanec's squad.
Karic has been on loan at former club NK Maribor for the majority of this season and is likely to leave Portman Road permanently in the summer. NK Maribor were confirmed as Slovenian champions fo the sixth consecutive season at the weekend.
