Released Town midfielder Giles Coke is training with League One Wigan Athletic, along with another former Blue, Noel Hunt.
Coke, 31, left Portman Road after an injury-hit two years at the end of last season having made only four starts - just one of those in the Championship - and 10 sub appearances without scoring.
Hunt, 34, is also a free agent having recently been released by Portsmouth after a year at Fratton Park. The Irishman left Portman Road following the 2014/15 campaign having spent most of that season with the Blues, scoring three goals in three starts and nine sub appearances.
