More Than 150 Fans Apply to Join New Panel - Ipswich Town News

Town have revealed that they have received more than 150 applications to join their new fans’ panel since it was announced on Tuesday.

The club are looking for a diverse section of supporters to become involved in what they’re terming the ‘Voice of the Fans’ panel, which they envisage working alongside the existing forums.

The meetings will be hosted by assistant media manager Jonny Ogle with the first set to take place in the home dressing room ahead of the start of the new season, while other members of staff will also be invited to attend over the course of the campaign.

"The applications have been flying in and obviously we are delighted that so many supporters want to take part,” Ogle told the club site.""

"There are some great applications and we will start to look at forming the panel from next week onwards so if any supporter is thinking about applying to join, please send their application in now.

"""We are keen to increase our engagement with supporters and hopefully the ‘Voice of the Fans’ panel can be the start of a productive relationship in that respect.”

""If you’re interested in getting involved, email jonathon.ogle@itfc.co.uk briefly outlining why you would like to join the panel.
