U23s Play First Friendly at Opening of Felixstowe & Walton's Redevelopment - Ipswich Town News
Town U23s will play their first friendly of pre-season on Saturday at the official opening of Felixstowe & Walton United’s £530,000 redevelopment of their Goldstar Ground (KO 4pm).
Prior to the match there will be an official opening ceremony from 2pm where former Blues chairman David Sheepshanks will be the chief guest and will unveil a plaque.
The redevelopment includes a new pitchside complex housing six changing rooms, a hospitality area, a large function room, spectator toilets, a turnstile block, a bar and kitchen, a club shop and associated hardstanding and pitch surrounds.
Admission is £6 for adults and £3 for concessions with under-16s entering for free. A full list of Town’s pre-season games can be found here.
