Injured Dozzell "Progressing Well" Ahead of Euros Semi-Final - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Andre Dozzell could win his fourth England U19s cap this evening when the Young Lions face the Czech Republic in their European Championships semi-final in Tbilisi this afternoon (Eurosport 2, 5pm)
Dozzell, who has started all three games at the tournament, was forced off by a hip problem in the early stages of Sunday’s 4-1 victory over Germany but head coach Keith Downing says the 18-year-old is on the mend and hasn’t been ruled out of this afternoon’s match.
"Andre Dozzell has an impact injury on his hip and but is progressing well,” he said.
Portugal face Holland, who finished second behind England in their group, in the other semi-final earlier in the afternoon (Eurosport 2, 1.45pm). The final will be played in Gori on Saturday
