Dozzell Starts for England in Euros Final - Ipswich Town News
Town midfielder Andre Dozzell has been confirmed in the England U19s starting line-up for this afternoon’s European Championships final against Portugal at the Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium in Gori, Georgia (Eurosport 1, 5pm).
The 18-year-old, previously uncapped at U19 level, started the three group games but suffered a hip injury early in the 4-1 victory over Germany last Sunday and was an unused sub for Wednesday’s semi-final against the Czech Republic, which the Young Lions won 1-0 via a last-gasp goal from Manchester City’s Lukas Nmecha.
Both England and Portugal will be looking to win the competition for the first time, each having lost two previous finals.
