Away Ticket Price Cap Agreed With 12 Clubs - Ipswich Town News
Town have revealed that 12 clubs have so far agreed to their recently announced away ticket price cap proposal.
Last month, the Blues wrote to their fellow Championship clubs to try to arrange a reciprocal price cap on away match tickets, which would see the Blues put a ceiling of £25 on away seats at Portman Road for a rival side’s fans if they agreed to do the same when Town supporters visit their stadium.
"We have received a very encouraging response so far and we have agreed a deal with 12 clubs,” Town’s director of retail operations, Lee Hyde, told the club website.
"""Some clubs have expressed an interest and want to consider it further before making a decision and some have yet to come back to us. That happens at this time of year with people away on holiday. At the moment, of the clubs we have contacted, only one has rejected the idea."
