Miller Still a Worry - Ipswich Town News

Tommy Miller's virus is causing concern at Portman Road ahead of Saturday's important game at Liverpool, while Mark Venus is continuing his recovery from his groin injury.

Miller and John McGreal have both been suffering with the virus and Miller dropped out of receiving his Most Improved Player award at the Boxholders' lunch on Tuesday.

Titus Bramble looks as if he will continue at right-back in what could be his last game for Town.

Neither Fabian Wilnis or Chris Makin are likely to return from injury and Wilnis will undergo a summer hernia operation.

Bramble, also under the knife in the summer for an achilles problem, looks likely to leave Portman Road in the close season with Newcastle thought to be his destination, while Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked.

Saturday's game will be televised by Sky Sports 2, but remains as a 3pm kick-off.

After Manchester United's loss to Arsenal last night and Liverpool's win against Blackburn, the Merseysiders will be looking to ensure second place and an automatic place in the Champions' League by finishing second. Third place would mean they would enter at the qualifying stage along with Newcastle.
