Bialkowski Returns Against Gills - Ipswich Town News

Bartosz Bialkowski returns to the Town starting line-up for this afternoon’s pre-season friendly at Gillingham (KO 3pm).

Boss Mick McCarthy’s starting XI featured 10 senior players and midfielder Flynn Downes, who signed a new three-year contract earlier in the week having impressed the Blues manager during pre-season.

Adam Webster is in the squad for the first time having overcome an ankle injury but there's no Cole Skuse, who is ill, and Teddy Bishop, who has picked up a knock.

Emyr Huws (calf) and Tom Adeyemi (illness) are again not involved, while Luke Hyam is also yet to play a part in any friendly having suffered an ankle injury towards the end of last season.

Former Blue Lee Martin skippers the Gills, who are managed by Ipswich-born Adrian Pennock.
