Third choice keeper Keith Branagan saw a specialist in London about his shoulder yesterday and came away happy. Branagan underwent an operation last month on an injury he had worried might have ended his career.
Branagan has been told to take it easy for the next month, but that his recovery is going well. After then he can start working on stregnthening and using the shoulder.
The former Irish international suffered tendon and ligament damage in a training ground injury early this year.
The former Bolton player hopes to be OK for pre-season training, although he admits that may be a bit soon for him.
