Town Open Day on Thursday - Ipswich Town News

Town’s annual Open Day takes place on Thursday at Portman Road (free entry, gates open 9.30am, ends 2pm).

The event, which was attended by more than 4,000 fans last year, will see the first-team squad and coaching staff take part in a signing and selfie session prior to a training session on the main pitch, while there will also be activities on the FieldTurf behind the East of England Co-op Stand and the FanZone will also be open.

Entry for the signing and selfie session, which will run for an hour from 10am, is via the entrance by the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand on Portman Road, next to the Cobbold Stand, while the main entrance to the FieldTurf is via Gate 1A on Sir Alf Ramsey Way.

The players will be on tables for the signing and selfie session as follows:

The players will subsequently spend some time in the dressing room before going out on the turf for the training session at 11.30am.

The stalls and activities on the FieldTurf include Ipswich Witches Speedway, Seckford Golf Club, 12th Man, Boots2Africa, ITFC Junior Blues, the Suffolk FA, BBC Radio Suffolk, Town 102, Cineworld Ipswich, Namco Funscape, Treadfirst, ITFC Inflatables, Go Ape, Coffee Link, My Big Fat Wedding Disco, the Samaritans and many more.
