U18s Face Canaries - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in friendly action against East Anglian rivals Norwich City at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am).
The young Blues started their pre-season with a 2-0 win at Southwold, then drew 4-4 at Spurs last Saturday before a 4-0 victory over Grimsby Town in midweek.
Meanwhile, academy schoolboy Ben Knight came on as a sub for the final 20 minutes as the England U16s were beaten 2-0 by hosts Scotland at Forthbank yesterday afternoon.
The forward previously played the full 80 minutes of England's opening game at the four-team tournament, a 2-0 victory over Uruguay. The Young Lions face Qatar in their final game.
