McGoldrick and Celina Miss Out at Charlton - Ipswich Town News

David McGoldrick and Bersant Celina are among the absentees today’s final friendly with League One Charlton at the Valley due to illness (KO 3pm).

The on-loan Manchester City man was absent from the Open Day on Thursday when McGoldrick was involved.

Tom Adeyemi (ill), Emyr Huws (achilles), Teddy Bishop (groin) and Luke Hyam (ankle) remain unavailable.

Better news is that Cole Skuse returns at the centre of midfield alongside youngster Flynn Downes with Andre Dozzell in the first-team squad and on the bench for the first time during pre-season.

The 18-year-old suffered a hip injury while away with the victorious England U19s at the European Championships. Former Blues striker Billy Clarke starts for the Addicks.
