Blues and Brewers Linked With Cardiff Winger Noone - Ipswich Town News

Town and Burton Albion are reportedly considering making a move for £500,000-rated Cardiff winger Craig Noone.

According to the Daily Mirror the Blues are keen to battle the Brewers for the 29-year-old, who has been told he can move on by the Bluebirds.

Kirkby-born Noone started his career in non-league with Skelmersdale United, Burscough and Southport before joining Plymouth Argyle for £110,000 in the summer of 2008.

The 5ft 10in tall wideman spent time on loan at Exeter while a Pilgrims player before moving on to Brighton for £300,000 in January 2011 and then Cardiff for £1 million 18 months later.

While with the Welshmen Noone, who has a year left on his contract, has made 119 starts and 51 sub appearances, scoring 19 goals.

The Blues are in the market for another winger with Leicester youngster Harvey Barnes, who is available for loan, understood to be on their radar.
