Town Unseeded in Carabao Cup Draw - Ipswich Town News
Town will be among the unseeded teams in tonight’s draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The draw will take place live on Sky Sports News at 10pm following the Bury-Sunderland tie.
The list of seeded and unseeded teams - which is based on league position last season - is yet to be confirmed as it depends on the result of tonight’s tie and also where the EFL put Derby and Grimsby, whose match was abandoned on Tuesday evening.
However, Town, who beat Luton 2-0 at Kenilworth Road in the first round on Tuesday, will face one of the teams below home or away in a single tie which will be played in the week commencing Monday 21st August.
