Hermann Achilles Shocker! - Ipswich Town News
Hermann Hreidarsson's place in the Town line-up at Anfield was suddenly a concern after an achilles tendon caused the defender a problem in training. He and club physio Dave Williams made a swift trip to hospital to check it out, but fortunately the Icelander's problem was not serious.
Hreidarsson says it was something he had felt a few times but that he will be OK for Saturday's game: "I stretched and felt it a little bit. It was right to have it checked right away. I've felt it on and off for some time but it hasn't stopped me playing.
"I'm ready for the big game at Liverpool and hoping that we can win like we did at Anfield last season."
