Town's Palace Date Set - Ipswich Town News

Town’s Carabao Cup second round tie against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park has been confirmed for Tuesday 22nd August with a 7.30pm kick-off, subject to live TV interest.

Tickets will cost £20 for adults, £10 for concessions with under-12s admitted free with every paying adult. Season ticket holders will be entitled to a discount of £5 off those prices.

The sides have met once before in the League Cup, back in 1996 when the Blues won 4-1 with Alex Mathie and Paul Mason both scoring twice. Carl Veart netted for the visitors.

Meanwhile, former Blues defender and current academy coach Titus Bramble, 36, has joined Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Stowmarket Town.

Elsewhere in non-league, another ex-Blues defender, Kevin Foley, 32, has signed for Billericay Town in the Bostik League Premier Division.
