McGoldrick in Ireland Squad - Ipswich Town News

Blues striker David McGoldrick has been named in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Serbia next month.

Manager Martin O’Neill, whose assistant is ex-Blues boss Roy Keane, has named a 39-man initial party for the games away in Georgia on Saturday 2nd September and in Dublin against Serbia on the following Tuesday.

The 29-year-old has previously won six full caps so far without scoring an international goal.

Also in the squad are ex-Blues Daryl Murphy, Jon Walters and Conor Hourihane.
