Peralta Goes Home - Ipswich Town News

Reports claim Sixto Peralta may be a target for two other Premiership clubs. Peralta is returning to Inter Milan next week and says any decision over his future is not in his hands.

Peralta said: "I will have to wait and see what the clubs decide and see other possibilities. At the moment I can't do anything. I have spoken with the manager and the club knows I am really happy here. But it is not my decision.

"If a bigger club or Premier League club came in I would have to think about it. I have to think about my career too.

"Even though I believe if we go down we can come back up quickly, I have to look at other possibilities.

"I am a young player but it has got to the stage where I need to play, like I did this year at Ipswich. If I go back to Inter and they tell me I have a possibility to play and will be in the squad and can fight for a place every game I would go back. But I don't want to be at a club with no chance to play."

The Argentinian has become a fans' favourite at Portman Road, but if Town go his £3 million asking price may be too high for Town.

Meanwhile Finidi George has been added to the list of Town players reported to be interesting Manchester City. Last week Matt Holland and Titus Bramble were linked with Kevin Keegan's club.

Martijn Reuser says that despite reports he has yet to hear anything form Spurs over a summer move.
