Reserves Rampage! - Ipswich Town News
Town reserves went goal crazy this afternoon with a 7-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers at Portman Road. Town were five up at half-time with goals from Neil Midgley, Marco Holster, Midgley again, Axeldal and Stuart Niven. The second half saw second goals for Holster and Axeldal. Martijn Reuser played the first 45 minutes and impressed. Team: Branagan, Kennedy, Moffat (J Miller), Thetis (Asiamiah), Bramble, Koogi, Reuser (Artum), Holster, Axeldal, Midgley and Niven.
The subject of Matijn Reuser's value should Town choose to buy him has been a much discussed issue over the last few days. Prices of anything up to £5 million have been quoted. However, his agent says he is worth about £1 million, a figure Town could well be able to afford.
