No Offer for Veno - Ipswich Town News
Town defender Mark Venus says he is yet to receive a contract from Town. Reports earlier this year have said that George Burley is ready to keep him for another year, but as yet no offer has appeared on the table.
Venus said: "I haven't been offered a contract yet at the football club so I don't know what will happen with my future.
"My contract expires in the summer and I'm not sure what will happen. I am willing for anything.
"They have said they are going to offer me one but as yet they haven't. So I will have to wait and see what happens."
Colchester United have said they would be interested in him if Town fail to offer him a contract, but the ex-Wolves man is not keen on dropping down the divisions.
