Town’s U15s beat Celtic 2-0 earlier this afternoon to win this year’s Hibernia Trophy tournament, which has been hosted by the St Joseph’s Boys club at Pearse Park, Sallynoggin in Co Dublin over the weekend.
The young Blues, who are coached by Ben Pugh and Titus Bramble, netted both goals in the first half to carry off the trophy.
They reached the final by topping their group having drawn 2-2 with a France Development Squad in their opening game on Friday, before defeating Leicester 6-0, the hosts 1-0 and Leeds United 4-2 in yesterday’s three matches.
