Hyam, Adeyemi, Celina and Rowe in U23s Facing Blades - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that Luke Hyam, Tom Adeyemi, Bersant Celina and Danny Rowe are all in the U23s squad for this evening’s game against Sheffield United at Portman Road (KO 7pm).
Hyam, 25, is continuing his comeback after a knee injury and will be playing his third U23s match, while Adeyemi will be making his first appearance in a Town shirt.
The 25-year-old, who signed on a free transfer following his release by Cardiff at the end of last season, missed the whole of pre-season and then first month of the campaign proper having initially been ill before picking up a calf injury.
Loanee winger Celina, 20, and fellow wideman Rowe, 25, have also both suffered from illness during recent weeks, limiting their involvement in the first team.
A number of the young players who impressed in the Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace last week will also feature.
