Midfielder Tom Adeyemi is again set to feature for the U23s when they take on Barnsley at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).
The 25-year-old summer signing made his senior Blues debut as a second-half sub at QPR on Saturday and might have grabbed an equaliser in the dying seconds.
Adeyemi will be playing his third U23s game having been sidelined with illness and a calf injury after joining Town in July following his release by Cardiff.
Also in the side facing the Tykes are keeper Dean Gerken, winger Danny Rowe, striker Ben Folami, who has scored three U23s goals already this season, and midfielder Conor McKendry, who has missed the last two matches as he was away with the Northern Ireland U21s.

Town’s U23s, who are coached by Gerard Nash, have made an impressive start to the campaign having won three of their first four matches and are currently third in the Professional Development League Two South table.
