Town Face Stewie's Rovers - Ipswich Town News
Bristol Rovers have announced that they will be facing Town in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 24th July at the Memorial Ground. Yesterday we reported that the Blues will play Bristol City in a friendly on Saturday July 27th, although this is as yet unconfirmed.
Whether Marcus Stewart will still be at Portman Road to take on his old side Rovers, or the team he supported as a boy, City, remains to be seen.
Full details of Town's pre-season are expected next week. Other than the two Bristol games Town will again be off to Scandinavia with Finnish club IFK Mariehamn advertising a fixture between themselves and Town on July 16th.
