Woolfenden Signs New Deal - Ipswich Town News
Young defender Luke Woolfenden has signed a new Town deal which runs to the summer of 2019 with an option for a further season at Portman Road.
Eighteen-year-old Ipswich-born academy product Woolfenden was given a one-year deal in the summer but since then has broken into the first team picture, making his senior debut as a sub in the Carabao Cup victory at Luton and then his first start at Crystal Palace in the next round.
The centre-half or right-back has been a regular on the bench in the Championship but is yet to make his league debut.
