Town Unchanged Against Bristol City - Ipswich Town News

Town boss Mick McCarthy has named the same XI which saw the Blues to Tuesday’s 5-2 victory over Sunderland for this afternoon’s home game against Bristol City.

McCarthy again starts with David McGoldrick, Bersant Celina and Martyn Waghorn behind lone out-and-out striker Joe Garner.

Central defender Adam Webster is back on the bench after recovering from his ankle injury - with Kevin Bru dropping out of the 18 - while keeper Dean Gerken also returns the the subs after missing the Black Cats thrashing due to a hip problem.

For Bristol City, seventh one place and one point behind the Blues, midfielder Marlon Pack, who has already amassed five bookings for the season, is replaced by Josh Brownhill in an otherwise unchanged side.

Town: Bialkowski, Iorfa, Chambers (c), Spence, Knudsen, Skuse, Adeyemi, Waghorn, McGoldrick, Celina, Garner. Subs: Gerken, Webster, Connolly, Ward, Sears, Nydam, Kenlock.
