Veno Taking His Time - Ipswich Town News
Town Player of the Year Mark Venus says he is going to take his time before deciding whether to commit himself to Town for another year. Venus was offered a new one-year deal by Town at the beginning of this week and won't make a decision on it for a fortnight.
The former Wolves man is keen to spend another year in the Premiership and may be waiting for an offer to come in from another club before signing on the dotted line at Town.
Colchester manager Steve Whitton expressed an interest in the 35-year-old earlier in the season, but Venus has said he is not keen to drop down to the Second Division at present.
