Bees Friendly Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Brentford have confirmed that they will meet Town in a pre-season friendly at Griffin Park on Wednesday July 31st (KO 7.45pm), as reported by TWTD on Friday.
Town's pre-season programme is gradually emerging with the tradional Scandinavian trip followed by a number of home-based games.
The trip to Scandinavia involves two Danish fixtures plus the trip to the island of Ã…land to play Finnish side IFK Mariehamn on July 16th and possibly one Swedish game.
The UK-based games include trips to Bristol Rovers (July 24th) and Bristol City (July 27th), the Brentford game and presumably the traditional final home game with continental opposition.
As previously reported Town could make a move to bring Brentford's Ivar Ingimarsson to Portman Road on a Bosman transfer over the summer.
