Town 15th in Cash League - Ipswich Town News

Figures out over the weekend showed that Town made £14.21 million from Premiership TV revenues last season. The Blues received the 15th largest share of the revenue, despite being relegated.

They received a payment of £8.09 million simpley for being in the Premier League, as well as £4.79 million appearance money for games covered on Sky, ITV or on pay-per-view.

Town also gained £1.33 million 'prize money' for finishing 18th. A repeat of last year's fifth would have brought in £7.44 million.

The figures released don't include the cash Town brought in through the UEFA Cup.

This year Town's income will drop by between £12 million and £15 million depending on who you believe. The Premiership parachute payment is just £3.9 million.
