Icelandic Crime Writer on Life's a Pitch - Ipswich Town News

Life’s a Pitch is live on BBC Radio Suffolk at lunchtime on Saturday and sees host Mark Murphy, legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, New Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham, who will be at the KCOM Stadium ahead of the game against Hull City, joined by Icelandic crime writer and Town supporter of 44 years standing Óskar Guðmundsson, who will be about to see the Blues in action live for the very first time (12-2pm).

Guðmundsson, whose 2015 debut novel Hilma was highly-acclaimed and won awards in Iceland, is in the UK for Hull Noir, a week-long crime-writing festival exploring the best of British and international crime fiction, which coincides neatly with the Blues’ game at the KCOM Stadium.

Can Town build on the 3-0 win at home to Preston at Hull and make Ã"skar’s afternoon? Can the Blues maintain their play-off push? Give us your thoughts on those questions or anything else via email, Mark’s Twitter or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK.

The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM, and also now on DAB, or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
