Former Town midfielder Danny Sonner has been given a free transfer by promoted Birmingham City. Sonner moved from Sheffield Wednesday to St Andrew's in 1998 on a free.
Last month there were rumours that Belgian side Anderlecht may make a move for the sociable ex-Burnley player who was at Portman Road from 1996 to 1998. Norwich, Bradford and Preston were also thought to be interested in the 30-year-old.
