U18s Host QPR - Ipswich Town News

Town’s U18s are in action against QPR at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am).

Alan Lee’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways after last Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Watford.

Meanwhile, the U23s’ Premier League Cup tie at West Brom, which was originally scheduled for Monday, has moved to Monday 25th January and will be played at St George’s Park (KO 7pm).

Town currently top their group having won both their opening games.

Elsewhere, academy schoolboy Ben Knight was in the England U16s side which beat the US 1-0 at the Nike International Friendlies in Florida on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old sent over the left-sided corner which led to the Young Lions’ last-gasp winner in the 79th and penultimate minute.

The England youngsters face Brazil later today and the Netherlands on Sunday with the games shown live by US Soccer.
