U18s Beaten By Spurs in Friendly - Ipswich Town News
Town's U18s lost 4-2 in a friendly away against Tottenham Hotspur this morning, Jack Lankester (pictured) coming off the bench to score both Blues goals.
The Town youngsters are still waiting to hear who they will play in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup, the Oxford United-Dagenham and Redridge third round tie having been postponed due to the weather on Wednesday.
Alan Lee's side will face the winner of that tie, which will now take place on Thursday 21st December. The fourth round match will be played on a date yet to be set before Saturday 20th January.
The Blues' U23s are in action at Playford Road on Monday when they face Coventry City (KO 1pm).
