Woolfenden Joins Bromley on Loan - Ipswich Town News

Blues defender Luke Woolfenden has joined Vanarama National League Bromley on a month’s youth loan and made his debut in this afternoon’s 1-1 home draw with leaders Macclesfield.

Woolfenden started the game for the Ravens, who are eighth in the table, at right-back and was replaced with two minutes remaining.

The 19-year-old made his senior debut for the Blues as a sub in the Carabao Cup first round tie at Luton in August and his first start in the tie at Crystal Palace in the following round.

The centre-half or right-back has been on the bench in the Championship on seven occasions but so far without making his Town league debut.

Elsewhere in the National League, George Fowler played the full 90 minutes as Aldershot drew 1-1 at Guiseley. Adam McDonnell, who has also been on loan with the Shots, was recalled from his spell on Friday and was on the bench for the Blues at Wolves.

In the National League South, defender Chris Smith was in the Chelmsford City team which beat Welling United 4-1 at home. The Clarets are third in the table on goal difference with the top four all equal on points.

Meanwhile in League One, Blues right-back Josh Emmanuel was in the Rotherham team which beat the MK Dons 2-1 at the New York Stadium.

Striker Kieffer Moore, who is on loan with the Millers, served the final game of his three-match ban for his recent red card at Bristol Rovers.
