Police Praise Fans - Ipswich Town News
Town supporters have been praised by Merseyside Police for their behaviour at Anfield the weekend before last.
In a letter to the club Inspector BG Swift wrote: "I would like to compliment the Ipswich Town supporters on their excellent behaviour at the match against Liverpool.
"Your club, I am pleased to say, has an excellent reputation. It was unfortunate that Ipswich were relegated to the First Division, however, I look forward to your speedy return to the Premiership."
Town have received a number of similar comments from the police over the last couple of years and had just nine supporters on the list of fans banned from travelling to the world Cup in Japan and Korea.
