Town Among Clubs Linked With Pilkington - Ipswich Town News
Town are among a number of clubs claimed to be keen on out-of-favour Cardiff winger Anthony Pilkington.
According to HITC Sport, the Blues, Barnsley and Bolton Wanderers are all eyeing the 29-year-old Irish international, who it’s said Bluebirds manager Neil Warnock is looking to offload.
The former Norwich, Huddersfield and Stockport man, who is contracted until the summer of 2019, has made only two starts this season, one in the Championship and one in the Carabao Cup, in which he has also come off the bench once.
Although the Blues are looking for recruits in midfield during January, it’s central players to come in for those currently out injured who are required rather than wide players.
