Barnsley Striker Linked With Town, Reading and QPR - Ipswich Town News
Town are one of a number of Championship clubs reportedly showing interest in Barnsley frontman Tom Bradshaw.
According to the Sunday Mirror, the Blues, Reading and QPR are among several clubs keen on the 25-year-old.
Wales international Bradshaw started his career with Aberystwyth Town before moving on to hometown club Shrewsbury and then Walsall before joining the Tykes for £650,000 in the summer of 2016.
Bradshaw, who is 6ft tall, has been a regular for Barnsley this season, scoring 11 goals in 22 starts and eight sub appearances. His Oakwell contract runs to the summer of 2019.
Town are currently not in the market for a striker - although manager Mick McCarthy has admitted that with David McGoldrick’s contract up at the end of the season it’s possible the Irish international could move on during the window - and the Blues are close to moving on one of their frontmen, Kieffer Moore, to the Tykes for a fee understood to be £750,000.
