The ITFC On the Road event scheduled for tonight at The Horseshoe in Clerkenwell, London has been postponed due to Town's FA Youth Cup match against Blackpool having been set for the same date. The event will now take place in March.
Following their win over Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday the choice of dates for the Blackpool game was limited with all fifth round ties needing to be played by Saturday 10th February.
Town’s supporters liaison officer, Elizabeth Edwards, said: "Having discussed the viability of holding the event on the same night as the FA Youth Cup it is with regret that we have decided to postpone the London event.
"Many of our guests, including academy manager Lee O'Neill and managing director Ian Milne, are now unable to attend.
"A number of fans who were planning to come to the event have also said that they want to see the youth team in action. Given the quality of the performance in the previous round, I'm not surprised."
The event will now take place on Monday 26th March still at The Horseshoe in Clerkenwell.
Everyone who has reserved a ticket for the initial date will be contacted and will be refunded the ticket cost if they are no longer able to attend. Edwards added that she would like to thank fans in advance for their understanding.
