Smith, Butcher, Bramble and Milton on Life’s a Pitch - Ipswich Town News
Departing Blues defender Tommy Smith will be joining the regulars on a star-studded Life’s a Pitch in the FanZone on Saturday to look back on his Town career and say his goodbyes, while Simon Milton will be talking about the newly-launched FutureStars charity, along with Terry Butcher and Titus Bramble. Host Mark Murphy will be joined by legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, New Tractorboy and TWTD's Phil Ham (12-2pm).
Smith will be at Portman Road for the final time before he joins MLS side the Colorado Rapids.
Milton left Town after 30 years in the summer to become the director of Futurestars, an education through sports programme working with five schools in Tema, Ghana to deliver PE and sports coaching and assisting in the refurbishment of the participating schools.
Butcher and Bramble are both trustees of the charity, which held an awareness launch at Portman Road on Thursday.
