Fan Recovering in Hospital - Ipswich Town News
The Town fan who collapsed on the North Stand on Saturday is reported to be in Intensive Care. Many reports over the weekend suggested the fan, who hails from Braintree, had died after being taken ill during the second half of Town's game with Port Vale.
Supporters have been praising stewards for their response to the incident, apparently the seventh time someone has collapsed at Portman Road this season. The previous six all survived. We'd like to wish a speedy recovery.
Town are being linked with Wimbledon's Michael Hughes. The winger has said he wants to leave the Dons as he feels Egil Olsen's football philosophy is a odds with his own. The Town link may actually have some truth in it...
