Town’s U18s are in action against Colchester United at Playford Road this morning (KO 11am).
The side coached by Alan Lee and Geraint Williams will be looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s 2-0 FA Youth Cup fifth round defeat to Blackpool.
Midfielder Kai Brown, 16, whose move from Grays Athletic was confirmed on deadline day, could feature.
The Blues’ U23s’ next opponents are also the U’s, on Monday at the North Essex club’s Florence Park training ground (KO 1pm).
