The serialisation of former Blue Kieron Dyer’s long-awaited autobiography, Old Too Soon, Smart Too Late, starts in tomorrow’s Mail on Sunday which also features an interview with the England international.
The serialisation continues with further extracts in the Daily Mail on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
Old Too Soon, Smart Too Late, which was written with national newspaper journalist Oliver Holt, relates how a generation of talented English footballers, taken out of working class childhoods and presented with a world of glitz, glamour, wealth and temptation, failed to cope with the riches that were presented to them, and often fell apart.
