We'll Beat Germans - Matt - Ipswich Town News

Town skipper Matt Holland foresees a 2-0 victory for Ireland when they meet Germany next Wednesday. Despite the Irish camp's recent disruptions Holland thinks the Irish have enough to create an upset and that Robbie Keane could be the key.

The midfielder told his new official site (http://www.matthollandweb.com): "We're up for this one. We think we can match them in all departments and they won't be able to cope with Robbie's pace. Everyone says Germany are not the team they used to be, but they have some quality players."

Before meeting the Germans in Ikbraki, the Irish will play Cameroon in Niigata, arguably the hardest match they will play at the group stage.

Holland will regularly update his site throughout the World Cup and during Town's assault on the 2002/03 Nationwide Division One title. The site also includes competitions and celebrity guest columnists, first up England and Surrey cricketer Ian Ward.
